Chapter 1

This is the home of Alex Zander. He is a lover of the arts and is currently trying to achieve the highest level in art & music skill.

Alex is a lover of the arts.  He enjoys music and painting.  What luck to find a home right beside a park.  He enjoys a bit of night painting.

For a single man trying to make it on his own, fishing turns out to be a good way to ensure he has plenty to eat!

Nothing like learning how to survive...Alex improves his guitar skill and tries his hand at earning some money via tips.

His playing must be better than he thought as he's earning a lot of money this way!

Alex met Anita through some friends at work.  The really have a lot in common and enjoy spending time together.

The two spend a lot of time together .  Alex is starting to want to be more than just friends and is glad when Anita doesn't object to him placing his arm around her while they watch a movie.

What's this?  A kiss too? Seems like Anita feels the same way.

Since the night is going so well, Alex proposes going steady and Anita accepts.

Weeks fly by and it's Alex's birthday.  Anita surprises him with a birthday party in the park with some friends.  She turns out being the most surprised when Alex proposes marriage. 

Once Anita accepts, Alex serenades her.

The two decide to had back to the house for a more private celebration.  Alex blows out the candles on his cake and then Anita surprises him!.  She asks Alex if they could have a private wedding immediately.  

What a birthday! Alex never expected to be married but it's the best present Anita could give him!

Several weeks after their wedding night, Anita starts to feel sick.  She doesn't even suspect she may be pregnant.

Anita is not sure if it's love or maturing.  She seems to be gaining some weight but not only that she's finding new interests as a homemaker.  She  discovers a love of gardening and has these strange urges to learn to cook, sew, etc.

Then it hits her, Am I pregnant?  Sure enough, she rushed out to get a pregnancy test which confirmed she is pregnant.  She forgot all about dinner which is now ruined!

Anita had no choice but to serve the burnt meal.  Alex is so sweet to eat it without complaining.

After dinner, Anita shares the news.  Alex is overjoyed.  He can't help but to greet his unborn child and talk about all the fun they will have together.

As the weeks go by, Alex decides it's probably time to find another house.  He hopes they can find one  before their family gets too big.

Anita is getting anxious as it seems the baby is never going to arrive.  Alex assures her it will and even gives their unborn child a pep talk.

Anita has discovered the love of writing while keep up with her baby journal.  She's thinking she may just try her hand at being an author.

The Pain! The Pain! 

Anita and Alex arrive home with their first born son, Patrick

Patrick grows quickly into a toddler.

Anita has become quite the author and is able to be a stay-at-home mom.  Patrick is a great inspiration for her children's books.  She enjoys spending time with him and feels lucky to have a career that allows her to be with him so much.
